The Swimmer's Catch-up Drill - Better Freestyle Swimming by Using a Drill to Improve Your Swimming Technique

The catch-up drill is one of the many swimming drills that can be used to help a swimmer learn better freestyle swimming technique. Because it is a lot like regular swimming, once the catch-up drill is learned, the swimming drill can be used at almost any point in a swimming workout, at almost any swimming speed, at almost any level of swimming effort.
