Attendance is rising and temporary closures are down this year at the Marietta Aquatic Center, employees said Tuesday. Overall attendance may be even with last year, said Mike Bishman, pool director, citing a number of rainy days in June. Since then, however, the pool has seen 800 to 900 guests a day. "Weather was just super bad," Bishman said. "Other pools are taking the same hits though.
