Sunset Pool season extended; Douglass Park plan moves forward (Fairfield Echo)
MIDDLETOWN — Sunset Pool will remain open an extra week because of the extremely hot temperatures have been forecasted. Middletown City Council voted unanimously tonight to extend the swimming season at Sunset to Aug. 19. The pool was originally slated to close this Sunday.
