City Pools Open Thanks To Donations (Fox 17 Grand Rapids)
GRAND RAPIDS — For the first time in two years, all six Grand Rapids city swimming pools will be open, thanks to some generous private donations. T he city budgeted $600,000 to keep three pools open this summer but it took private donations to raise $300,000 more to fund the three smaller pools.
