Lamar Swimming Pool end of summer schedule (Lamar Daily News)
The last day to swim is Sunday, August 20 from 1 - 5 p.m. Aug. 7 - Aug. 20 open hours will be from 1 - 5 p.m. From 7 - 9 p.m. will also be open hours except on Aug. 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16 and the 18. Those dates and times are private parties. Aug. 17 from 7 - 9 p.m. will be free swimming.

pH: Measure of acidity of the water, which should be between 7.2 and 8 on a scale of 0-14, with an optimum level of 7.5. If it's below 7.2, more germs are being killed in the water, but the water is more of a skin and eye irritant. If pH goes above 7.7, the chlorine loses its effectiveness against germs and bacteria.
